I never felt that way at 18. I went to a Jimmy Carter speech when I was 18 just so I could sit during the standing ovations.

Listen to your Dad, son. Unless you want admit your family is a family of idiots. (jury is still out)

You may not realize it yet because of your inexperience at life, but you will, just like I found my Dad was correct, and his before him, and the same goes for probably everyone who ever lived. You don't know squat. You're stupid, emotional, and impressionable. Do yourself a favor and look at the facts and have the courage to face them.
