So, they are not acting in a Christian manner so I can treat them like shit. That's your position?

These people are just people. From a disadvantaged land where they have been crapped on for several generations. You can't expect them to look at all our wealth and fat lifestyle (compared to them we are all fat cats) and not take advantage of our healthcare and schools.

Again. We must have a system for legalizing their labor. Not make them citizens. Just a system whereby most of the ills listed in the thread may be addressed. Or at least make a start at addressing them.

The idea that they can just be got rid of and kept out is just silly and naieve. It ain't gonna happen.

The reason their land is "disadvantaged" is because of the people who live there -- they have all the natural resources they need. For whatever reason they tolerate a corrupt government. And if we allow them here, we will become just like them -- just as California is becoming like Mexico.

You can't expect them to look at all our wealth and fat lifestyle (compared to them we are all fat cats) and not take advantage of our healthcare and schools.

That's why we want them out. If we thought they would be a net benefit, we would want them here.

Again, no one is forcing them, and if they didn't like how they were treated, they wouldn't come here.

Besides that, why do you feel we are obligated to treat them better than their own countrymen and their own, freely elected officials treat them?

Why is it Christian for us to give them preferential treatment when it is done at the expense of more needy and oppressed people throughout the world who could do the work? Answer: It isn't
