****There is a lot wrong with supporting illegals, in the USA!****

I am not.

I'm saying that something has to be done. The situation as it stands is immoral and an offense to Christian values. We must have several million laborers of the type we now refer to as illegals and that is just a plain fact. To argue otherwise is naive.

We are all guilty is my position. We all benefit from thier cheap labor and we have forced them into a slave labor condition and we treat them inhumanely. We must all be ready to pay more for just about everything and find a way to cure the existing diseased system.

Foolproof IDs. NO leniency for imployers who cheat. Jail time for hiring non ID bearing workers.

Again --- how? I benefit in no way whatsoever from the labor of your illegal employee. I know women who hire illegal maids to clean their homes and babysit their children. My children were sent to a legal citizen babysitter who wasn't an immigrant. How does it help me that someone else paid $30 a week but takes that cheap nanny to the county hospital the minute they start acting sick?

You seem to have some kind of collective guilt issue's . I for 1 will pay more or grow my own . How difficult can it be ?

I still do not purchase anything made in France or China so scratch me and mine off of your collective guilt list .

Where does "thou shalt not steal" rank on your list of Christian values? What the illegals are doing is stealing the opportunity of another person (who is soliciting entry by legal means) to come and work in the United States. Illegals are the big engine driving identity theft, that's not exactly Christian behavior, either. Especially when you get stuck with the IRS tab for that illegal's wages.

of all the pictures and video I've seen of illegal aliens walking through the arid Southwest, I've never seen anybody with a bayonet walking behind them. No one is forcing anyone to do anything. The decision to leave their poverty-stricken villages in Mexico is theirs, the decision to cross the desert in 120 degree heat is theirs, their decision to break our laws and butt in line ahead of someone else is theirs. You act like these people are complete puppets and have no role in their own destiny, that's hardly humane or Christian of you to see people in that light.

No it isn't a fact. If employers don't have illegals to hire they will raise the wage rates until enough Americans apply for the jobs. Supply and demand. Yes, some unnecessary jobs will vanish -- we won't have such elaborate flower gardens in our median strips, but so what?

Also, Hutterite farmers have about eleven kids per family and they will expand their numbers until they growing all the crops we need.

If you want to know how God feels about something, I'm sure you'll agree, a good thing to do might be to read His word! Here are some suggestions:

Deuteronomy 32:8 (He set the boundaries of the peoples.) God intends that nations have boundaries, borders. He made it that way.

Acts 17:26: (God sets bounds of habitation that they should seek God)

Duet. 28:43-44 (The alien who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, but you shall go down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.) This was a penalty and a curse, were Israel to allow herself to be overtaken and corrupted by foreigners.

Duet. 28:32: (Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people while your eyes shall look on and yearn for them continually...)

This is what is happening to Americans now. It is a curse, not a blessing!

1 Tim. 5:8: (If anyone does not provide for HIS OWN, and especially those of HIS HOUSEHOLD, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.) God does not require us to sacrifice our children's future just because racist, covetous lawbreakers demand it for their own benefit. We are not only allowed, but commanded, to care about, and protect, our own first.

Prov. 13:22 (A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children.) What kind of inheritance are we leaving our children's children by allowing this invasion to continue? Will our grandchildren be despised minorities in their own land, persecuted, discriminated against? What kinds of schools, hospitals, wages will they have? How crowded will their country be? What kind of taxes will they have to pay? It is my belief that future generations will spit on our graves for allowing our leaders to give our country away.

While reading the Good Book, you might also want to check out how God blesses obedient nations and curses disobedient ones, so that the disobedient nations may see examples of prosperity and thus be drawn to God's truth. You might also pay particular attention to the parts about pride, coveting, and stealing, oh, and being in submission to authorities over us (obeying the law.)

"We all benefit from thier cheap labor and we have forced them into a slave labor condition and we treat them inhumanely. "

Knock off the "WE" crap. YOU/YOUR BUSINESS benefits and YOU let them work for you under inhumane conditions.

'They' do not do anything for me, and I do not hire/run companies that exploit them, pay no taxes and benefits, and USE them as slave labor like YOU do.

Your attitude is disgusting. And YOU call FR a 'hate site'?

Your assertion that all illegal Mexicans are pathetic slaves is racist on its face. "Mexicans serve as MERCY's slaves, so out of wealthy guilt, we must reward them and screw the lower classes here".

we treat them inhumanely

WHAT??? That statement stuck out like a sore thumb. Here in California illegal aliens get all the benefits of citizenship, and most of them are collecting welfare while their spouses work for less than Americans can, work for cash, pay few taxes. We educate their children too. They even get subsidized housing and food stamps. YOU CALL THAT INHUMANE?? Get real.

As for the homeowners, the citizens, we get to pay the bills and the higher taxes it requires to support them. Inhumane my butt.

Breaking the law is not an offense to Christian values?

You are the one who fails to grasp reality. The millions of illegals currently here are a direct result of the Reagan amnesty. Another amnesty would encourage another tidal wave of illegals. Yes, something has to be done. A good start would be to enforce the laws already on the books.
