I was thinking more along the lines of companies that GE owns that I could boycott.

Most GE appliances that I've purchased over the last few years would have probably made good boat anchors. They haven't been good for much else.

Hot Point products are also made by GE. Get White-Westinghouse, Whirlpool, Maytag or other brands as appropriate. Sears/Kenmore are mostly Whirlpool.

Westinghouse also makes those electrical generators that so bothered a previous poster.
