Definitely possible and since it has been mentioned on FR 100 times already as a possibility, no doubt the govt. it considering that as well.

The French people are NOT anti-American. I spend a week there every other month, and they are very friendly and nice. Their elites are anti-American. But, then, so are our elites. [re: The Democrats]

The guy was a British citizen and a muslim convert. Yes he was on a plane departing France. Yet the French still suck!
From what I understand, the French detained Reid overnight , but American Airlines apparently allowed him aboard that flight he attempted todestroy.
The French security apparatus does not share in the Anti American attitudes as some of the Socialists in the ministries. I was treated like a king by them when I went over.

Air france is a joke.. i used to fly them once a month from LAX to Paris and on both sides of the pond there security is a joke and inconsitent, on one flight i met a woman sitting next to me..turns out she was married to the pilot, next thing i know i'm sitting in the cockpit of a 747 going over the pole....with in arms length of the crew. so much for security and procedure...so AQ infiltrating the airline does not seem far fetched...

Fox News: breaking...US learned through Iranian sources and others that Air France itself had been infiltrated. OMG
Took a good deal of high-level conversations between US and French government in order to reach decision.
This I have been hearing. The U.S. was adamant that those flights be cancelled, that much is clear. A step they would not take lightly.

good point.....IIRC, things should have started to happen in a couple hours if the targeted flights were the ones targeted, so the diversionary operation probably would happen while the chaos over those flights being cancelled happened....pretty soon probably. If nothing happens by tomorrow, I think we can breathe a sigh of relief for the day anyway. It may be that Al Queda wants to strike a bit later.
I guess we will find out. I am glad I live in the middle of Kansas.

Per Steven Emerson on MSNBC:
"U.S. has id'd a particular individual in (Air France)plot. Others may be id'd."
When Emerson asked his sources "Is this the crux of the attack?," the answer was "yes," but (says Emerson) there may be more we are not aware of.
Norfolk, VA was the focus of an attack. Was "desired aim" as a major military facility. (Atta had visited & done recon there in 2000.) Emerson doesn't yet know the connection between the Norfolk plot and Air France, but he thinks we'll find out in the next 24 hours.

The french capitulate again!! It was just announced on CNN that the french interior minister announced three flights from paris to L.A. have been cancelled due to "security" concerns.??? Maybe the security concerns originated in France & they saw danger on their end...not that the danger was going to be here (U.S.) upon arrival. Your reaction was strange.

Wish I had more time to do the research for ya, it is one of my specialties, but I gotta meet my hubby at my mother-in-law's (**ugh**) here shortly and will be out of the loop until Monday after that. Will check in with you on Monday and see what I can find for you. Have a Merry Christmas y'all!

Norfolk, VA was the focus of an attack. Didn't Atta scope out the naval base there as a possible target?

Thanks for the ping, though aquaculture appears to be gone. Interesting, member since 12-21-01, a few months after
Palestine Report has ax to grind w/ FR Website ... and their suggestion to
please register and post at the site. . You'll see aquaculture again.

I do think the NSA facility too.
Remember the threat to stop your ears from listening, eyes from seeing, communicating etc a few weeks ago.
To: browardchad
And, not to be overlooked, Emerson said a particular individual had been arrested. More info to come.

We may be a 1/2 step ahead or 1/2 step behind and are catching up. This is "24" for real.

Flight 68 was the first one cancelled this morning. Bill Kristol saying on Fox that adminstration people very concerned about chatter.

Try reading this a few more times, it might just sink in:
"It is our perogative to express our opinions, whether you like it or not. And, btw, *we* will continue to -- whether you like it or not."
Btw, foolishness would be defined as *your* stance here.
