This link about David Ulansey's research seems a bit more credible than the one from the atheism site you quoted.

Oddly enough, the atheism site gives Ulansey as a source, but Ulansey says we don't know much at all about the specific rituals and beliefs of Mithraism - the information he does mention doesn't support what the atheism site says.

The information I referred to was not taken from an atheist site.

And it still seems like a great deal of it is confirmed by sources outside of Ulansey(and within.)
