Or the US dig up all the trees we have planted over the last two plus centuries. There are more trees here making CO2 than there were when the great ecologists ran this continent.

My understanding is that trees take in CO2 and release oxygen; is that your understanding as well?

Heh. The "great ecologists" = primitive hunter-gatherers.

Which is what we'd all be, if we listened to these faddish purveyors of trend science. Thirty years ago, these same frauds were predicting an ice age and global starvation by 2000.
