I wasn't singling you out. Others were on the warpath, though. I never thought he was dealing. But anyone who is busted with that amount of narcotics is routinely charged and tried for intent to distribute, weather or not they ever had any intention of dealing. When people have a habbit and the cash to support it, it's common for them to secure as large a supply as they can to avoid making numerous smaller purchases or having the supply cut.

In retrospect, having played for years in a rock band, it is amazing that I never got busted, not even a single DUI, ever. Course, I really didn't inhale. :)
We even went into Mexico with a VAN once and re-crossed the border and the border agents were sure they had some "A-mer-eee-can" hippies to bust . . . but they didn't.

His maid, who was blackmailing him, told some stories to the authorities which have not been proven, save for the admission of addiction. Have I missed the news breaking where drugs were seized in this case?
