Having had some conversations with a bunch of DAs lately about this very topic - (not Rush related, just drug offense related) I am 100% positive that he is being hunted down because of his being the most powerful conservative media voice. No doubt at all. Even meth freaks arrested time after time do little jail time. Only ones who do real time at all are meth cookers and dealers, or those who commit other crimes as well. If I got addicted to pain pills in a similar manner I would never - NEVER - see the inside of a cell. Because I am a nobody."

I think these people who want to see Rush punished - I mean the ones on FR - are libertarians who want to see their fantasy of a free-drug utopia made real. Either that or they're envious because Rush is rich and famous (as if either of those assets ever made anyone really happy within!). Other than that their reasoning makes no sense. Or they're closet liberals.
