Also if he had more than he could use then i question if he was or is a addict I don't question that he's an addict because he has admitted to being one.

LOL! You changed the name of the link. It mentions nothing about Roy Black admitting anything!

Limbaugh lawyer discussing plea bargainThat makes perfect sense to me. That's what happens to the vast majority of drug offenders on their first offense. A slap on the wrist and a year's probation.

Hope all you WOD warriors are happy now that your boy is getting screwed over by the laws

Fact: You are no lawyer. Your premises are all flawed. You have no concept of the law and insist on making a fool out of yourself.
Hey, did you ever get the coveted cardboard cut out for your books?

Neither can be used in court. Quite simply, you don't know what you're talking about. They most certainly can, regardless of whether or not the maid tried to blackmail him.
You seem desperate for this NOT to be true, when, in fact, almost every word the National Enquirer printed months ago has turned out to be true.
The charges are that Rush Limbaugh obtained over 2,000 pills IN A FIVE MONTH PERIOD -- (in case you're too dense to figure this one out, I'll explain it to you: he's been addicted since 1999, and all they looked at was a five month period) -- AND those are the drugs he ILLEGALLY got a prescription for.
In other words, they don't even include the drugs he was buying from his maid!
Can you possibly be this blind?

The only evidence are voice recordings and e-mails. Neither can be used in court. Oh I get it. So because this actual evidence of a crime is inadmissible then Rush is innocent, right?
Pure as the driven snow right?
"It all depends on what the meaning of "is", is.
RIGHT???
To: Alissa
Alissa, here you get to the root of my point. Were they, or were they not Using AND Selling, as IA claimed.
Or, as I suspect, is he/she attempting to "beef up" his "well see they did it and they didn't get punished" defence of Rush, regardless of the truthfulness, or lack there of.
To: cricket
.but who is running the legal maneuverings against Rush; the loser Dems down there or the Repubs? Palm Beach County is the same Democratically controlled county that brought you hanging chads and disenfranchisement of idiot voters.
To: Howlin
Today
Roy Black corroborated more aspects of the NE story:During a hearing over whether prosecutors should have access to Limbaugh's medical records, attorney Roy Black said Limbaugh paid "extreme amounts of money" to Wilma Cline, his former housekeeper, and her husband, first for pills and then for extortion.
Roy Black is not denying that Rush bought pills illegally from his maid, is he?
And the "extortion" money probably refers to the hard drive Rush's attorney bought from the maid.
To: george wythe
I hope that the New Year will be a new beginning for Rush. Despite his faults, Rush was instrumental in my politics when in college, and he moved me to the right side of the issues through his rants.
I personally don't care what Limbaugh or anyone else wants to do with THEIR BODY IT AIN'T THE GOVERNMENT'S but I hope this wakes him up to the insanity of the WOD and its laws

I feel bad for Rush, but he truly is the author of his own misfortune.
And a victim of the WOD which he supports as do many on this site

This line is SO funny:
Black said Limbaugh wanted to contact the FBI, but was told by an unidentified friend that if he went to the authorities, they would target him, and his political enemies would use the information against him. "That's exactly what happened," said Black, who also alleged that Cline's husband was a convicted drug trafficker.
It is most assuredly NOT what happened, is it? He did NOT go to the FBI; she got nabbed and coughed him up!
And doesn't Black know if the husband IS or IS NOT a convicted drug trafficker? What is that "allged" crap, except for more lies from Roy Black. If he speaks, he lies.

Didn't the attorney buy a 'pig in the poke' so to speak as what Cline smashed in from of him wasn't the hard drive with the incrimating data..... or so I read somewhere...
But not to worry the Kennedy lawyer is on the job.....

Both the e-mails and the voice recordings are legal and admissible in court.
Some people are just denying the facts:
Cline provided investigators with e-mails and answering machine recordings to support her claims, according to the warrants.
Answering machines are legal in Florida.

Now he needs to pay his debt to society
Don't know about you but Limbaugh doesn't owe me a damn thing
Please tell me how he is any different than an alcoholic like Teddy Kennedy

Well, I should have known or 'thought about it'. . .surely explains the focus on the details here re Rush.
