I told Ernest just last week there was a lot of activity in So Cal EQ zones and to look out for a quake. On the other hand here on the North Coast where we have 5 to 10 small quakes a week has been very quite for three weeks. I even called Prof Lori Dengler at HSU on Wednesday of last week to voice my concern. We have been in a lull here since 1992 according to here and she is concerned also.
In 1700 we had a 9.? quake form here to BC that sent a tidal wave to Japan...

It is Eureka's fault for not having an earthquake to ease the tension in S. Cali..
Our neighbors were driving down 1 tomorrow to visit her parents just north of LA Christmas.
She just called and said that it looks like I5 to the Grapeyard and then into LA. We felt nothing, but these neighbors have a blind dog that hates earthquakes. It went into a long whine at the time and during the after shocks.
