I'll take the cold any day. The ground shaking beneath your feet? That has got to be creepy,,like at any moment your world shakes.

I'll deal. You can get shelter from the cold. There is no shelter when the earth beneath you goes unstable.

Wouldn't take long to get used to it. I've had the earth go unstable under my feat here also, but that was usually my fault, or budweisers.

Looks like we'll be in or close to the 40's most of the week (hi's). Not bad really - don't even need a coat.

I'm with you. It's easy to tease about quakes, but none of the teasers want to feel what it's really like.

Did you feel it?

I'm in the Watsonville area and felt it BIG TIME. It went on and on..........

I use to live (if you can call it that) in Iowa too and it stays cold for months...

Give me a good old California earthquake anytime.

How is Rosebud?

The castle has been evacuated, and they're checking for structural damage. (per KNBC & KCBS/KCAL)

Well, now that you mentioned "half". California would be half-empty if all of the illegals and terrorists left!!!
It would probably take care of our budget deficit too!

KFI 640 am radio...I just heard a fire being reported by the Bob Hope Airport, they're not sure if it's related. That would be interesting.
