He probably deserves it if the government is raking in the money. I think any of us would be annoyed a bit if we discovered something and the government took it and starting making money off of it.

It's unfortunate that it happens to be a human body in this case.

I agree. Obviously the mummy has monetary value, so the guy who found this valuable piece of merchandise should get a cut of the action.
