I'm sure I could did up some 1 yr stats that are better than his and alot that are comparable.

However, you miss the point - greatness has to withstand the test of time.

Will Terrell Davis go down as one of the best ever running backs? NO. Why - career too short...yes he was one of the best when he played and THE best for a 2-3 yr span, but 20 yrs from now you won't find him mentioned in the same breath as Simpson, Payton, Brown, and Sanders.

I never said Namath was the best...I said he was one of the best.

I watched him play many times and would put him up aginst any of todays quarterbacks, bad knees and all.
