I think that confirms the story.
If you want "better" confirmation, you can call Montgomery County Police and ask them.

Got a better source for your rumor yet? A press release from a police department, hardly sounds like a rumor.
Of course there is that Associated Press report, but we all know how unreliable the Associated Press is.
