I wasn't blaming the Republicans!

It's a given that the Democrats didn't want him impeached/convicted.

I've come around to the view that the Republicans didn't either, for their own reasons.

The republicans pursued justice no matter the cost.........if you conclude they didn't want to remove the president that is your interpretation.

The republicans did what they had to do......they could have thrown up their hands and said that they knew they would lose so why bother.

The Judicial Committee under Henry Hyde ought to get the highest accolades, not be labelled dirty..etc.
