Excuse me.......but I am a 66 yr. old grandMOTHER.

I was so proud of our republicans that day. They knew the political consequences, given the media, but did the right thing. It was a day of which to be proud, not sorrowful.

Just my opinion, of course.

I was so proud of our republicans that day. They knew the political consequences, given the media, but did the right thing. It was a day of which to be proud, not sorrowful.

Yes, I was glad on that day myself. I was disappointed on the day Slick Willie was elected, and on the day he was re-elected; during the Monica scandal, I felt a sense of vindication, as I had always suspected that Bubba had serious character flaws. And I was glad to see him being brought to justice ... my next disappointment was when the Senate vote failed.

It is indeed a shame to have a president who has to be impeached, so I understand Nina's emotions, though I agree with you that Impeachment Day was more a day for pride in the way the decent people of America acted to counter that shame.
