My only real concern with Condi is that she is somewhat shy. I would like to see her take the VP slot in 2004. She and Bush are close and see eye to eye on most matters. The Democrats have no two candidates that could Bush / Rice in 2004, period.

My only real concern with Condi is that she is somewhat shy.

Condi would make a great VP. And I'm not ashamed to admit that her particular demographic -- her race -- IS a factor. She just might pick up a substantial portion of the African-American vote, which would screw the Dems. As VP, she would do less damage with her pro-choice, pro-AA positions. But the lady is a hawk. No doubt about that, and she has backbone. I don't see her as shy at all. She can hold her own in a debate. She can be tough as nails.
