So as an NRA Firearms instructor, who has a plaque of the 2A on his den wall, I don't understand what I said to make you think I was against the right to keep and bear arms?

I was responding to your excellent point about electricity, "preaching to the choir," if you will. I know you're not against the right to keep and bear arms -- my point is that we shouldn't have to explain why we "need" this weapon or that weapon any more than we have to explain why we "need" electricity. I think it's a sad day when we people think they need explanations for us to keep our rights.

The right to keep and bear arms is found in the Constitution, and it is a right that is not to be infringed upon in any way, even by asking "Why do you need weapons?"

As you put it, "How about electricity?"

Sorry that I confused you.
