Non mystics can be monsters also...i.e. the communist regimes all over the world. There are bad apples in every group,but speaking as a Christian, I don't know anyone who eats garbage,who hates enough to execute,or who has driven their family away. I do know people who are loving and charitable and who care about each other.I think you paint with a pretty broad brush.

I agree; but my point is that one does not need religion to know right from wrong.

Ask any child that's just reached "the age of reason" (somewhere between six and nine) if he/she knows right from wrong.

They do, in a far better way than most of their elders.
