I know her intentions...but events have conspired against her...lok, if not for 9/11, she was going to run in 04...now, she's stuck till '08, and that's a long time...

Now, she's stuck till '08, and that's a long time.... That's my point. It's too long to wait. The Clintons will lose the power of the party purse when Dean forces McAuliffe to walk the plank. She's got to stay intimately involved to avoid hurting her chances in 2008. That's why she was pushing Lieberman and then Clark in order to slow Dean, while stealing the spotlight and not a little campaign cash.
Morris is exposing the problem with sunlight, and you're saying he's babbling and using too much disinfectant.

There is, however, an interesting question as to why she chose Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) to accompany her to Afghanistan and Iraq rather than a favored Dem candidate unless she had already given up on them, perhaps adjusting her strategy to make herself more attractive to Dean. I appreciate that Reed was in the Special Forces and could educate her, answering questions she would have in confidence when she didn't understand things she was seeing, and other candidates may have been unavailable for the trip, her "gift" to our troops. What do you think?
