I've been to DCA twice. It's fine as far as it goes -- although I've not visited that California Dreams (??) attraction voice-over'd by Whoopi -- but by no means is it a park that should cost as much as Disneyland next door does. Disneyland is $47 for a day's ticket; DCA should be $29 -- and should include a little coupon book for discounts on the food and m'dise in DCA, which appear to be 35% of the reason for its very existence.

Good corndogs though.

We just get the park hopper tickets and go to both parks. My 6 year old daughter loves California Screamin', the big roller coaster at DCA. She went on it 6 times. All of us love the Grizzly and Soarin over America at DCA. My kids also like the Sequoia Based play area at DCA.

DCA is much mellower, and I wouldn't go to just it. However, we like it as part of the whole Disney vacation. It is less crowded, and we can go and hang out over there. There is no place to hang out in Disneyland.
