Now, I'm not likely to vote for Joe Lieberman anytime soon. I disagree with him on many, MANY issues. He did talk a good game about Clinton, but ultimately wussed out. Still, from all I know about him he's a good, decent and honorable man. And unlike the DU folks, I can say that even though I disagree with him substantially on many issues. If the Dems don't want him anymore ... well, I don't know that I'd want him to switch sides in the Senate because he'll probably never be totally right on the issues to our satisfaction, but I think it would be a coup to entice him into some kind of role in the second Bush Administration, maybe in foreign policy or defense?
I bet most of them have "domestic partners"
And the few straight ones probably abort for the fun of it.
