My daughter, who lived in the ME for a few years and understands the Arab mind, called to say that the worst punishment for Saddam would be to leave him in that rat hold, build a wall around it, and keep a live cam on him 24/7. To which WA freeper Baynative added, make that a fence instead, let Iraqis visit, watch, jeer, and toss him pork rinds.
I think it's rather poetic that he was found in a RAT hole.

That would have been bad. The worse thing is his being captured alive, and his next appearance is to be tried for war crimes by the survivors of those he had slaughtered.
His ego will be crushed by that reality.
