Economically, this will boost our economy through the 2nd quarter of next year. But what will save W's butt for the election will be the massive sell off in oil futures now. I can see $27 oil in less than a month.

Yesterday, we filled up my wife's car at Costco, and regular gas was $1.49/gallon. It went down about 10 cents since Thanks Giving which is very unusual. That is the lowest price it has been on the West Coast for a long time.

We both know what happens to the American economy when oil gets down at and below $25/barrel.
