I strongly suspect his audience at Noon would be different than the one who would have had unfettered access to him a year ago.
There are a lot of people in Iraq who would have gladly died to take him out, and many tried.

Actually Baghdad might not be the best place to misplace him, although the Shiite parts would do. Basra (Shiite South) or Kirkuk (Kurd North) would be good. Other posts indicate the Kurds got the word early and are partying hearty.
