"You've heard the saying "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit..."

Ugh. You had to say it. You know what drives me up the wall about that phrase? I don't know if OJ was guilty, I don't really -care-. But 300 million Americans watched him put on a glove that fit -perfectly- on his hand, but because he was shaking his head and grimacing after he put it on, 300 million Americans said "Well, uuuuhhhh, duh, yeah, guess we have to acquit now". The freaking glove fit perfectly! It went all the way down! His fingers went all the way into the tip of every finger of the glove! I swear to you, find a clip of the scene from that case where he puts that glove on, don't look at the way he's grimacing and acting like it doesn't work for him, and I -challenge- you to tell me the damn thing -didn't- fit! Oh, was it a little -tight-? Gee, I'm sure someone who had just killed two people would have rejected the first pair of gloves he came across as not giving that all-natural comfort.

Sorry. HAD to get that rant out of my system. I really couldn't care less if OJ was guilty or not, but watching 300 million Americans watch him put that glove on and doublethink themselves into believing that it didn't fit AS THEIR OWN EYES PROVED THAT IT DID was absolutely stupefying.

I always thought that it looked like the glove fit him too. He spread his fingers apart to make it seem as though it was tight.
