It seems to me that if the birth of Christ was important enough for the angels to come to Earth to sing out with joy, then is is important enough for me to remember it each year and celebrate this most important date in the history of mankind in a similar way. If you feel otherwise, that is up to you, but don't criticize those who celebrate Christmas for all the right reasons.
