No, that statement doesn't come from the Bible. It comes from what I've learned coming up.
The best anology can be likened to exercise. When you think you've reached "the wall" and can go no further, you (or many) find they can call upon an inner strength to go "just a little bit farther."
That "inner strength" is not unlike a call to God. If you call to Him, He will provide the strength to call upon to get past that "wall," no matter what. His strength is infinite, and you can lean on Him for your every need.
I'm not in great straits now, and times are difficult. But He is helping me to survive, even now.
Amen - that is what I was trying to convey to LowOil with the one reading from Psalms. It is a theme that appears throughout the Bible. Not in that exact text, but clearly a message that is there for all to see.
