Many of us believe our Creator is like any loving father willing and able to help his children any way he can with life's difficulties, and he is. Yet, once we pray and give him our problems we continue to worry, "why would he help, when or how will he help. There is a saying I learned years ago, from the bible I guess, but I don't know where it is
"LET GO AND LET GOD", but most of us have a hard time doing that, we keep taking it back. In otherwords, we don't have
"FAITH"!....FAITH is giving our father our problems and believing in our heart he will handle them and THANKING HIM while we WAIT FOR HIM TO HANDLE THEM.
....Oh, and no instructions are required, he knows best HOW to handle our problems!!!!!!!

But we also have to accept that sometimes God doesn't "heal" as we want to be healed. And we also have to recognize that God has given man knowledge about how to treat problems. It is a balancing act to recognize that God may not answer the way we want, and to accept that answer without being angry with Him.

Yes - but sometimes the answer is "no" or no-answer. There was a situation in my life where prayer for year after year did not result in the help I prayed for.
You would think this resulted in a lack of faith when the outcome was reached - but, it did not.
Sometimes, when we go through tough times, God still blesses, comforts and walks with us - even if He did not change the outcome.
Hard to accept but we sometimes just have to go on day by day. True, we could lose faith, we could hate God but what does that do?
Just sometimes the help we want is not forthcoming but God still loves us, comforts us, and walks with us. Wish it had been different but to hold grudges, to lose faith just seems to make it all worse. Better to move forward and leave the understanding by the wayside.

When I first crashed, I was a baby Christian and asked my friend who had helped me accept God what was going on. He told me to read the first chapters of Job. The first chapters were very enlightening yet I continued and finished the whole book. In the end, my conclusion was I was now on one wild ride and I needed to learn how to trust God through whatever happened and not turn my back on Him again. Even though it was an incredibly painful time, it was also a time of His healing and care. The memories of how He took care of so many problems simply out of my control fills me with more love and trust for Him than I can ever express.
My greatest joy is talking about my Lord and God! I'm just in heaven right now! :o)
