You think that's something?
The other day I was in a hobby store looking at model aircraft for Christmas, when I came along Revell's model of the Hindenburg. I built this same exact model as a kid.
But, something was different...I didn't pick up on it at first, then it hit me like a rock...
THEY REMOVED THE SWASTIKAS!!
Am I a big Nazi fan? No, but this is history we're talking about. You don't have the right to NOT be offended.
The PC crowd really needs to get over themselves.

They do it all the time. German glue models models and Germans in video games now sport the "Maltese cross" and the "German cross"
Russian Stars and hammers and sickles are still available though...

Revell's model of the Hindenburg.... THEY REMOVED THE SWASTIKAS!! The swastika is banned in some countries, notably Germany and France. (the last time they saw them, they liked them too much, I guess). For many years, model kits of 3rd Reich aircraft (all of which had a swastika on the tail) have not had the Nazi symbol included, if the manufacturers had plans to sell them in Western Europe.
In fact, I think the Revell kit you mention is made in Germany.
Other nations, especially the US and Japan, don't enforce this over-the-top PC. Yet.
