I propose everyone who reads this should email President Bush and other appropriate Congresscritters and tell them our opinion, and that if they want us to continue to vote Republican, they should act like conservatives and protect the Constitution.
I don't propose sitting out the election or voting for protest candidates.
What do you think could/should be done?

I think it may be prudent to withhold our support to the Congresscritters who have betrayed us. On the other hand, the Islamofascist threat is too real, and Dean is too nutty, to even consider being less than 100% in support of the President. We won't be able to argue about the merits of McCain-Feingold if the Islamofascists and their enablers in the West have their way.

I would propose contacting one's CongressCritters and Senate reps and demanding that steps be taken to have CFR repealled as quickly as possible. Its not too often I find myself at variance with Dubya however in this case, I'm on the other side and have to disagree with his position. Any infringement on the enumerated rights spelled out in Constitution can not be a good thing.

I'm voting Keyes. I'll write him in. I will never again support the two party hydra. There isn't a bit of difference between the two except rhetoric. Enough is enough.

Put the pressure back on Bush. He needs to hear our outrage loud and clear, and he needs to tell us what
he's going to do about it. No excuses. He's the leader of the majority party in the Senate and House. If he says, "We screwed up. Let's repeal this abomination," they will listen to him.
Put the pressure back on Bush. He can do more than any other single person--if he has a mind and will to.

Well, what do you propose?I hope this isn't your way of implying that resistance is futile. Only sycophants and other slaves think that way.
But since you ask -- the first step is to admit that we have our problems: that the GOP has failed us and that our battered wife response to a party that we continue to love even though it abuses and humiliates us is futile and destructive.
Now -- since the status quo is obviously not moving the ball for conservatives -- what do you propose?

Our Founders established the most workable form of government known to man. We should try to get back to supporting it.
