"Makes you feel "good" and ever so principled."
Yes, it makes me feel good to vote for the person who I feel is the best candidate. Yes it is principled. (Does that mean it is unprincipled to vote for King-Haven't snorted coke for years-George again?)
And you know what? If a few million other voters did the same, we could take back this country and stop gambling with the Constitution. The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good people to vote for a lesser evil. Evil is still evil. Truth is Error! Black is White! Freedom is Slavery! Or at least that's what I seem to be hearing. But luckily I'm growing deaf in my dotage so I'll just keep doing my duty as long as God sees fit to leave me here.
Regards.

Well, adopting the position that we need to have things go worse in order for them to get better, as you see the better (one step backwards for two steps forward), is not a new idea, but in general it is a bad idea, because it is a risky scheme, without really much prospect for success. That's my call anyway. Your mileage obviously varies.

(Does that mean it is unprincipled to vote for King-Haven't snorted coke for years-George again?) You just lost the sliver of credibility you had on this forum.
