My family are near Wolcott and Fair Haven - on Lake Ontario. But .. you're right, it's a huge body of water and it would take a tremendous amount of stuff to have any effect at all.

Do you think they would try to blow up the upper part of the falls in an attempt to stop the flow of water ..?? I really don't understand what their facination is with the falls.

Without getting into any detail I can tell you that some of the generation facilities and holding ponds are a little "soft". My guess is they may be planning on crimping the grid. Of coarse they may just like the picture..."All that water"
