The only time I visit the falls is when someone comes to town.
I drive over the north bridge all the time and see the mist rising from the splash.

Maid of the mist is all done for this year, I'll wave in the spring for ya.

I know what you mean about only seeing the Falls when someone comes to visit... I've lived the last several years in the Poconos and that is how NYC is for us.
