Hi there, EMB! Thanks for posting these cool pics. Every weekend I always try to catch the show K-9 I think in TLC or Discovery channel. The training these men and dogs go through is truly amazing and awe-inspiring.

GOODNIGHT TROOPS AND CANTEEN |
My fat cat is telling me it's time for bed; soooooooo:

Good Night, All! May God bless all who come to the Canteen. May God bless & keep safe all our troops & their families! ________________________________Dear Lord, There's a young man far from home, called to serve his nation in time of war; sent to defend our freedom on some distant foreign shore. We pray You keep him safe, we pray You keep him strong, we pray You send him safely home ... for he's been away so long. There's a young woman far from home, serving her nation with pride. Her step is strong, her step is sure, there is courage in every stride. We pray You keep her safe, we pray You keep her strong, we pray You send her safely home ... for she's been away too long. Bless those who await their safe return. Bless those who mourn the lost. Bless those who serve this country well, no matter what the cost.

God, Bless America!

Did anybody in the DC/MD/Va area feel the 4.5 earthquake today? I was snoozing at my desk and it woke me up. Actually, I snorted so I guess it was probably that. Never mind.
Have to go do some research and may not make it back so goodnight everyone.

Goodnight Canteeners, our Military, Vets, Allies, Volunteers and your Families. Take care and God bless you.

THANK YOU for protecting our FREEDOM

I Said a Prayer for our Troops and Allies I said a prayer for you today, And know God must have heard. I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures, Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He'd be near you, At the start of each new day. To grant you health and blessings, And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you, In all things great and small. But it was His loving care, I prayed for most of all. |

Well, Tomkow good night.
I know you are lurking so have at it.
Thanks for your service to our nation.

Guess who THIS is from:
Pfc. Bill Stachler gives a haircut to Spc. Robert Woodring, right, both with the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd ID, as Strykers are loaded in the background to move from Camp Udairi, in Kuwait, to Iraq.
In the interest of protecting Canteen members from acquiring Head Lice from invasive filthy predator animals, close crop hair cuts will be required for all posters.
Soldiers with the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division stand on a berm at sunset after a convoy briefing at Camp Udairi, in Kuwait.
Failure of the Iraqi Government, has resulted in an early setting of the sun over there, and Canteeners have noticed. Fortunately, the current full moon is attracting posters full of so-called Light, and the Canteen, will not fall to the darkness. Not as long as I can still post out here. Radix!
1st Lt. Drew Jensen, of Portland, Ore., with the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division gives a briefing to drivers as they began lining up vehicles for the convoy.
A rich bounty has been offered for the capture and destruction of subversives who would undermine the morale of our Volunteers in the Military. A lot of interest has been expressed by Patriots, who are simply fed up with holding a consistant defensive posture, against those afflicted with mental problems who attack so recklessly our military heros, and their true supporters. The hunt is on! Beware!
Staff Sgt. Darell Keith, left, of Birmingham, Ala., and Pfc. Crystal Davis, right, of New Orleans, La., both with the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, relax atop their truck while waiting for their convoy to start moving north from Kuwait to Iraq.
A fresh load of hot air was recently confiscated before it could be delivered to the decent posters of one of the most decent threads on the Free Republic.com site, aka the Canteen.
Units with the 3rd Brigade convoy into Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
One of the Patriotic units of our Armed Forces, recently set out on a Safari in order to trap, capture, and possibly kill the most destructive predator that the FR.com has yet known.
3rd Brigade units convoy int3rd Brigade units convoy into Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Locked and loaded. Tthat means it is only a matter of acquiring the target for you non Veterans who often lurk, in our humble abode, known as the Canteen. That place, which is purely designed to lift the morale of our brave Volunteers, who serve, at the peril of losing their very lives, in order that certain disturbed persons might have the freedom to demonstrate beyond all shadow of a doubt, how putrid their personal lives must truly be.

Units with the 3rd Brigade convoy into Iraq.
A Brigade generally consists of four Battallions, for all of you curious lurkers who have never served in the Armed Forces, yet somehow have come to the conclusion that it is your proper place to criticize supporters of the defenders of our Nation.
Iraqis talk to soldiers in Habaniya, 75 miles northeast of Baghdad, Iraq on Tuesday.
The Coalition has deemed it a criminal offense to sell Guppies in public while the Military Occupation continues.
A soldier with the 4th Infantry Division (Task Force Ironhorse) guards a detained Iraqi man during a night raid in Saddam Husseins hometown of Tikrit, north of Baghdad, Tuesday.
Real heros, demonstrate their commitment to a cause with actions, and not just vicious invective, and utter phoney BS! That is why I love our Troops!
A soldier mans a machine gun during a live-fire exercise Monday at the Makua Military Reservation near Waianae, Hawaii.
Reports of wild animals running amok, have caused the Troops to take extra caution while on their patrols!
An Army Kiowa helicopter fires on a target during a live-fire exercise Monday in Waianae, Hawaii.
Recent complaints of severe flatulence by certain Canteen infrequent Posters has caused the Military some concerns as they surf their way around the FR.com Canteen site.
Staff Sgt. James Washington, with B Battery, 201st Field Artillery Battalion, removes snow from a palletized loading system Monday at the Kelley National Guard Armory in Keyser, W. Va., as soldiers report for active duty.
Sometimes shoveling snow is a bore, but there are worse alternatives, as many who view in the Canteen have recently concluded, because of the fact that certain psycologically disturbed persons have odd things to contribute, which are clearly in no way a positive addition to the theme of our daily program here.
Woo Hoo!
Just another day at the office for our Troops.
