Richard Reid did not carry out a terrorist attack in the United States or anywhere else [lighting your shoe on fire and catching a beatdown from a female flight attendant doesnt qualify as a terrorist attack in anyone's book]...his attempt was thwarted, therefore his was not a terrorist attack since the Patriot Act was signed into law...now who is feigning intellectual honesty? ....The two disgruntled black guys werent anything you could associate with the concept of terrorism that the Patriot Act was meant to thwart.

You are completely, 100%, intellectually dishonest.

Richard Reid's actions were not a terrorist attack? Are you inSANE? He had a f**king BOMB in his SHOE! That is a terrorist attack!

The Al Fuqra-connected and Islamic-inspired DC Snipers (one of which draws admiring pictures of bin Ladin from his jail cell is absolutely one of the forms of terrorist attacks meant to be thwarted by the Patriot Act. The Rand Corportation, a defense think-tank, specifically noted the possibility of sniper actions as terrorism in a report released briefly after September 11.

Here, I know: You need to refine your assertion more. May I suggest you change it (again) to read: 0 [zero] trrorists attacks by Al Qaeda itself and not including shoe bombs, provided the terrorist does not employ a rifle within the lower-48 continental United States since one year after the Patriot Act was signed by GW. Bush, unless something did happen after all.

That'll be a little easier to defend.

Well, a black muslim from Trinidad who was living here illegally, was driving without a license and he struck a deer out in front of my ranch last night and veered off into my mailbox [federal property]...was that also a terrorist attack?

We can drag this thing out all day...bottomline...

Not one [1] since september 11th, 2001.
