A Carcano is not THAT Carcano. Nor do these scenarios usually involve a moving target. Watching the handlers handle the actual rifle from the TBD made it very clear that the bolt was VERY difficult to operate and the rifle went severely off target when the bolt was operated.
Nor do any of those scenarios account for the inability of the rifle to be properly sighted in after it was alledgedly moved back and forth across the country stored for months where it could have been stepped on or banged around, then disassembled and reassembled.
Then the shooter had not fired the rifle at anytime for the previous six months if ever. No one has convincing evidence that he EVER practiced with it before just picking it up and winging off some fantastic shooting.
