[history]
On Dec. 7, 1941, six Japanese aircraft carriers positioned 200 miles north of Oahu launched 181 attack planes toward the slowly waking port of Pearl Harbor and at U.S. military airfields elsewhere on the island. The two- stage attack killed 2,403 Americans, including 68 civilians -- men, women and children.

An interesting read. Thanks.

I have serious doubts that Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened.

And here we are ... after Pearl Harbour and after the more tragic attack on our own soil on 9/11 ... still unprepared and unwilling to do what is necessary. Anyone with a brain can see that the Islamic World is building to a third World War and we WILL NOT SEE IT.
We hold our only real ally in the ME or Central Asia, Israel, hostage to the insane notion promulgated by our sick State Department and swallowed whole by George Bush that Arabs can be accepted and befriended by The West. It's a crazy suicadal notion proved untenable over and over again but we continue in our madness.
Just as we abandoned our own soldiers to the rapacious fury of the Japanese in 1942 and then our own citizens in terror incident after incident in the last twenty years, now we force Israel to indure the worst sort of murderous aggression. We have lost our soul as a nation and as individuals most do not even know the evil done in their name.

We also have done nothing to prepare on the domestic front, specifically teaching our citizens what to do and how to be vigilant and suspicious of the activities around ourselves.

I have recently returned from a three week sojurn in Israel. We had a private guide and went to many locations the length and breadth of Israel. We went to Arab areas as well and met Christians, Druze, Jewish and Palistinian Israelis.
We learned a lot of the true history of Israel from our guide who did not sugar-coat things for us and informed us of much we did not know. We learned that it was Moshe Dian who gave the Temple Mount back to the Arabs in '67. We learned that Israeli soldiers are not invincible and that many of them died in the many wars since 1948 through the incompetence of their leaders and the political foolishness of the same in their attempt to appease the Arabs. I won't go into the details as this is not the point.
During our trip we were victims of a smash and grab robbery that forced us to go through all the regular hasssels with canceling credit cards and obtaining new papers. We had to go to the American Consulate in East Jerusalem and stand in line in an Arab section waiting to speak with Arab consular officers to obtain American passports.
This experience turned out to be a catalyst that caused many things to become clear in our minds. We had a lot of time to process all that we had seen and heard while the bureaucratic wheels slowly turned. We began to see in our minds just why Israel has trash and litter swirling all over the streets nearly everywhere and nobody cares. We began to understand the monumental depression brooding upon this land.
The details would be extensive but suffice it to say we began to see that Israel is in very deep trouble and it is being held hostage and literally tortured at the hands of U.S. Policy. This policy has gone hand in hand with a failed and suicidal belief resident within Israeli politics: The idea that the Arab world can be treated as potential good neighbors and Arabs within Israel can be accepted as Israelis. The idea that by affording the Arabs with every curtesy and consideration they will come to reciprocate.
On the part of the Israelis this is suicidal for the Arabs have proven they desire nothing but the death of all Jews. On the part of America and our State Department this policy will prove the death of Israel.
We are not Israels ally and we afford them no blessing. In fact we stand in danger of laying upon them the final and irrevocable curse.
The American Christian world needs to hear this. They need to understand it. Before it is too late.

Yup. Many people seem to forget that Israel is going down the drain domestically, specifically the economy. Terrorism scares investment away. In addition, some people are even leaving. Its not just the outside terrorist invaders, but their actions hurt the Israeli economy. In addition, the population of the Arabs is increasing, and is faster then Jewish birthrate.
