Saying that she "will support the democratic nominee, no matter whom IT might be" does not omit herself. I can see her taking the VP position because even if losing (victim of the right wing conspiracy, "you know"), such an action would definitely set her up for the '08 election.

Hillary drove from media appearance to appearance in her Hillary Car:
So did she say she was both a "native New Yorker" and a member of the "affluent intelligentsia"?
After all it is all about "her perspective".

a Hillary file would be great. I agree with the idea that to defeat her we cannot make ourselves look like crackpots, woman haters, etc. We have to unmask her and make her comments known. I think her calling herself the affluent intelligentsia just might hurt her. But if she loses control in public or private and the details get out,,,that would be a good thing.

I can see her taking the VP position because even if losing (victim of the right wing conspiracy, "you know"), such an action would definitely set her up for the '08 election. Who's to say it would be offered? Which of the candidates would select the most divisive figure on the political scene? And certainly Vermonter Howard Dean will not select NY'er Hillary Clinton. He needs either Graham or Edwards to deliver a few southern states. Only Clark might have selected Hillary, and he's in a freefall.
To: NittanyLion
if hillary runs and is defeated she has a sorta plausible deniability meaning, I got in late, the DNC came screaming HELP and a host of excuses the MEDIA will willfully echo
for certain the party is up for grabs 'tween Dean and his or Hillary and hers
as to justice files, when events like the fundraiser
fellow supporting docs are in Justice to verify
meetings,time lines et al

The Hellary quote I am referring to was the one about "Welcome to the forgotten front line in the war on terror." Yes, that's the quote .. she keeps repeating it
Oh yes a we must get Bin Laden too. Wow a vast right wing conspiracy exists.

Well, it is a great rumor if not true. I will pass it on. Seems only fair if Nikita is out there spreading conspiracy theories. ;-)

Dean may be the one to unmask Hillary! He can do it
That's what I was thinking too. Dean and Hillary will have to go into a very nasty public battle if they go head to head for the nomination? It wouldn't be pretty.
Dean doesn't strike me as one who would go down quietly. If Hillary succeeded in getting the nomination, I wouldn't be surprise if Dean went over to a third party and ran.
To: Howlin
I remember that thread and the Newsweek analysis of how Hillary will get into the race.

Carolinamom, your eye is keen and supporting info
go back to her grazing in Iowa .She screamed that the party
must support the eventual nominee.....meaning Hillary
To: cajungirl
How do we go about organizing a FR Hillary file, much like the old Clinton/Whitewater files?

Conservative turnout would be immense.I agree, the 3 to 4 million christian conservatives that Rove said sat on their hands in 2000, will not even need a phone call to remind them to vote.
To: thesummerwind
Thanks for replying. I didn't think you would after I attacked you on the Dean thread the other night.
I would like to discuss it more; we need to do the same grass roots thing against Dean next year. (right?) :o)

Yep, that is her plan. And she may be terrified of dean who right about now is looking good to me. I think he could finish her off and the Clinton machine too. Hey the guy is a surgeon, they like to cut people up. We may need him.
To: Howlin
"THE SCENARIO, as sketched by this hard-boiled insider, calls for Clinton to make an entrance as healer and unifier at the end of the primary season in May or June in the unlikelybut not impossibleevent that none of the existing contenders has amassed a majority of the convention delegates." This is exactly what she will do
All these interviews this morning was PR to fix what she said in Iraq to the Troops
