[history]
War against terrorism, war in Afghanistan, war in Iraq, war in... ? The Bush administration has told us repeatedly since September 11, 2001, that we are in the war against terrorism for the long haul, that Americans understand that, and that "Americans are patient."

"as the death toll among American soldiers mounts steadily" Not even 20% as many as the innocent civilians who died on 9/11. The author of this piece should go take a valium.

Maybe they're right. Maybe we should just pull out and bring our soldiers home. Maybe we should just vote for the democrats so Saddam can rebuild his army while they're in power and do nothing to stop it. I am sure Saddam is not too pissed off that we destroyed his army and his regime and embarassed him in front of the whole world for the second time in 10 years. I'm sure he's not that pissed at us for killing his 2 son's. Hell, we should just elect Hillary in to office, maybe the whole thing will just go away......untill the enemy arrives at our gates again.
Horse Shit.

"Coward" is a pretty harsh term. You have been registered here for a day, and you launch Heat rounds at other members? Interesting debut.
By the way, I think you'll find (if you're still here tomorrow) that there are numerous current and former members of the armed forces on this net.
