I doubt very much that there are any current black people living in the U.S. who have endured any "treatment" different from you and me.
That is not to say that many of them have not brought grief on themselves through their own actions, attitude and overt hostility.
Green men from Norway would have had identical grief, had they chosen to behave similarly. That's a different, apparent invisible, issue.
