In years to come, after some things become de-classified, we are going to read books written by people on the front lines of the War on Terror, the front lines being here inside the US.
We'll learn about operations an plots so terrifying, their publicity would cause complete panic if the general public knew about them right now.

When I was in the army, a guy from the 82nd Airborne was assigned to our unit. He told me that when he was in the 82nd, they were put on alert for a deployment here in the US! That was back in 1990! I assume he was telling the truth, he was a stand-up kind of guy.
