She has said the homeland security plan is a “myth”, informed us that we are still “as vulnerable as we were before…September 11”

I have to agree with her.

Until we shore up our borders, and aggressively use profiling to rout terrorists already entrenched within our country, we're pissing in the wind.

A good article but we're not as thorough as he wishes: We have 2 porous (sp?) borders where illegals can enter the country at a leisurely walk, airliners are still vulnerable (as proven a few weeks about by a N.C. student), the anthrax initiator has still not been caught (though we're told someone is a person of interest), and a of dimwitted liberals, from judges on the 9th Circus to the various city councils in places like Berkely, Amherst, and Cambridge are refusing to cooperate with Federal authorities.

I don't agree with her. The consolidation of 22 agencies which now work together, share expertise and info, and reduce duplication was a stroke of genius and long overdue, IMHO. I find myself pleased with about 60 -70% of what this administration is doing. This is one of those, and I believe the proof is in the results to date. Hill must be bummed out that we've had no further terror attacks on our soil.

My reply has always been "We have not seen a single terrorist act on this country's soil since 9/11, except for the anthrax scare". We know the terrorists would do more if they could so our agencies (CIA, FBI, Police, HLS) are doing an excellent job. The problem with the Dems is they are completely out of touch with the majority of Americans. If they do not change and get their heads out of their !@#es, they will go the way of the Federalist party and that is NOT a good thing. We need two or more strong parties to keep our government in balance.

Never mind that it was Jimmy Carter (note: Democrat) who signed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) that Intentionally Restricted the Intelligence Gathering Methods of the FBI and CIA while Bill Clinton (note: Democrat) Expanded The Law Via Executive Order to further cripple our intelligence agencies.

A "HUGE Don't ever forget these facts" BUMP!!!
