Former LA mayor, Rirdon (sp?) wanted to ban "berringers". That's either a cross between a Beretta and a derringer, or it's a California Merlot wine that is "precocious, but not pretentious." The mayor never cleared that one up, but I'm sure he pushed legislation along those lines........
