It bothers me a lot, too. But that's the way evil is able to continue in the world. If it showed itself as it really is, all of mankind would naturally find it repulsive.

I really don't have much knowledge about Alexander Pope, and I should. I run across a quote of his every now and then.

This one is so germaine to our conversation, and so TRUE! Pope hits the nail right on the head.
