Thank you for the beautiful prayer for Sgt. Chris.
Pinging your fellow (former) Texan to your prayer, in case, like me, he missed it.
Could you and amom please add xzins's son to the prayer list. Our Chaplain is 'giving up' his own warrior son who's heading to Iraq, after little notice to prepare friends and loved ones.
Prayers for the protection of xzins's son and his fellow Guard, and that peace and strength be with him, his family, all loved ones, friends and fellow military and citizen Soldiers, as well as our civilian support teams, Coalition and native allies in harm's way.
Prayers of protection and gratitude going out, fatima, for your granddaughter, coming home.
Thank you!

Will tell the lads about it as well! Things here are intense; we unfortunately lost 3 KIA & 3 WIA to an IED a few days ago....its payback time....
I will give you any pertinent intel as I can
thanks again Dad!

RC, I'm "fixin' to" send Chris the URL of one of your posts with the AA patches & wings; he'll realy appreciate it. It's neat to see both sets of wings there, because #1 son was Air Assault (on the right) and Chris wears the wings on the left side.
Chris is quite a character: he griped because the 82nd "jumped" into Desert Storm from trucks -- not aircraft -- so he missed getting his Combat Jump Wings.
Several of my clients at the time were jewelry manufacturers, so I dug into my military models stuff and mocked up a master for lost-wax casting. You should have seen his face when I presented him with "Combat Jump Wings" -- with a tiny truck tire in place of the wreathed star!!! LOL!!!

Lord, please walk with those of ours who pass through the Valley of the Shadow of Death in our stead. Shield them with Your Rod and your Staff -- and soothe them with them Your comfort as they grieve their losses.
