"Wanted to send you this link to let Chris and his buddies in Iraq know that there are a whole lot more Americans who support our beloved troops than the "anti" crowd. (Hint, don't be discouraged by the media not reporting the true great picture of what's going on there, we know, thanks to the internet).

This thread is rather long, due to the numerous requests and prayer pouring in for our young men and women in Uniform but if Chris has time to read it all, think he will appreciate our sincere heartfelt love for him and others who are serving our country with such great honor."

BELOVED HEAVENLY FATHER,

We place before you Captain David Tyner. We understand he is suffering from complications from influenza. Father, we call forth your healing angels and comfort angels to surround him and his family immediately.

Father, surround each and every cell in those lungs and air passages with your healing light. Balance the entire oxygen exchange system! Balance the blood chemistry! Balance the proper functioning of all the organs! Balance all biochemistry and all body systems! Shatter all opposition to his ability to breath easily and comfortably! Heal the original cause and core which made him vulnerable to this disease! Father, enlighten the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other medical professionals as to the best possible treatment plans for this young man. Make all medications, respiratory therapies, antibiotics, pain management, and other treatments 100% effective.

We are grateful for the service of this officer and we call forth your intercession. Grant us your grace and assurance so that we may have the Faith that you are in complete control and that ONLY your Will can and shall be done in his life!

Oh, I did. Trust me!! I wrote them an email on the subject, and then went searching for a telephone number. I suppose no one will hear it until Monday but they will get an earful when they do. I was respectful but firm - that sending out a list like this to a mailing list, when they have no idea, really, who is on it and what damage could be done, is/was totally irresponsible.

I have been so careful about the names of the guys that I visit at Walter Reed - for privacy reasons as well as for their safety. The fact that some of their names and pictures appeared in a defense-link article doesn't mean that I feel I have "carte blance" to release their names. It doesn't release me from my confidentiality responsibilities.

Same for this list, in my mind.

Thanks for the affirmation, RC. I suppose there are people who think this is a wonderful opportunity but I am horrified at the release of this information along with private details.

Once again, I pray a shield of angels around the people on that email list - that no damage, no hurtful words, or wounding statements will make it to their eyes, and pray protection, that if any garbage is written to them, they will simply not be able to see it. Protect their vision, God, from the slings and arrows of the enemy. God bless them, everyone. Amen.
