Yes but the people across the street had the knoll on the horizon. Somewhere someone was looking in that direction.What are the odds someone would have looked at the exact spot of someone firing from behind a fence a couple of hundred feet away with lots of leaves from the trees obscuring the view at the exact moment of the shots and not looking at the motorcade just as the President was passing by?
