what is the flying time from Crawford to Baghdad? Can air force one refuel in mid air, or does it have to stop for a trip of this length?

Air Force One can refuel in flight. An SR-71 making the trip to Baghdad would have to refuel 3 times on the way, to make it there in less than 4 hours. Using Afterburner, it would suck fuel very quickly.

AF1 was taken to Andrews on fake out of maintenance. They went into a huge hangar and there was the other AF1 waiting to take off for Baghdad - new crew. I don't think they wanted to risk an inflight refuel at night. I presume they used the same plan on the return flight.
